MEET ROB FITZGERALD
Dividing his time between Canada and Nashville, Rob Fitzgerald is a country artist blending from many styles and influences that give life to his Traditional/Neo Country style.
Fresh from Nashville’s recording sessions, Rob kicks into high gear with 3 new single releases scheduled for 2025 to support his upcoming album release. Hot on the heels from the success of his previous four, Music Row charting singles and five #1 singles on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown Charts, comes his newest single ‘Livin' Hard' scheduled for release on September 19th.
'Livin' Hard' is a blues-country rock anthem that hits with grit and energy. Written by Rob himself, the track was recorded and produced in Nashville with a world-class seven-piece band whose musicianship brings the story to life. The song captures the wear and tear of hard living—late nights, long days, and the struggle to change course—wrapped in raw vocals, driving rhythms, and a big, live band feel. With its mix of fun, swagger, and honesty, 'Livin Hard' is a perfect fit for playlists that celebrate the edge where country rock and blues collide.
For the past 4 years Rob's multiple releases found their way to country radio stations across Canada which landed five #1 spots on the Indie Country Countdown. And in the US, four singles have reached the Music Row Country Charts to date. Rob’s songs have also landed award positions in various songwriting competitions including the International Songwriting Competition and the World Songwriting Awards.
As a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, Rob has also had the opportunity to showcase his songwriting skills in Nashville, Tennessee at various songwriter round events including the Bluebird Café, The Commodore Grille & The Local.
Here at home Rob can be found in venues and festivals all across Canada including Sunfest in BC, Canadian National Exhibition, Canadian Music Week, NXNE, Indie Week, Bread & Honey Festival in Mississauga, Burlington Ribfest, Waterdown Ribfest, Hollyrood Country Jamboree in Belleville, Rock The Lot in Dresden, Gussapalooza Festival, Big Texas in Niagara Falls, Cowboys in Guelph and has appeared on the television shows Canada Sings and The Shot.
With a new album release, a tour, music videos, and follow up releases already scheduled, 2025 looks to be a strong breakout year for this country artist you won’t want to miss. Be sure to add Rob Fitzgerald to your favorite streaming playlist.
